The Book Was Better
A new book club will entertain the age-old question: was the book or the movie better?
Adult Services Librarian Amanda Gibson explains that the idea was born out of a quest to facilitate interesting discussion. People oftentimes like to debate whether the writing – or the brought-to-life version – is best.
“Each month, we will pick a book that has been turned into a movie or TV series, then get together to compare,” Amanda said.
The club will meet on the second Thursday of each month, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Conference Room and on Zoom.
